Measures to maintain an effective operation of the chain scraper conveyor
During the running, there may exist some stop which are caused of external interference.Thus, it is necessary to observe the effective running of chain scraper conveyor .In order to meet such purpose, we need take some measures as below :
First,keep chain scraper conveyor running horizontally. It is allowed that to make bend section both at horizontal and vertical direction . This design is made to meet the working surface and conveying purpose,but it does not mean the machine body can be bend randomly.
If there exist a radical turning of chain scraper conveyor , the connection joint’s bend degree will be large.This will cause the connection joint to be forced and damaged. Then the connection joint will be out of control . When it bends, there exist a gap between connection joints, coal powders will come into the bottom of chute,which will cause jamming accidents.
If the chain scrape conveyor is not installed evenly,scraper and chute’s connection will be worn out soon.Then it will increase the running resistance and lifetime will be shorten.Worse still ,it will affect other equipment’ normal working.
Secondly, in order to improve the effective operation time on chain scraper conveyor ,at a certain loading, the higher the work utilization rate of the conveyor operation, the greater the conveying capacity. Chain scraper conveyor ‘s efficiency is fully improved ,and this is the best way to improve the productivity and economy.
Hence, we need take measures to reduce the stop running time. Usually it is not allowed to running without loading. Because empty loading running will cause power consumption and invalid wear of parts. If the chain scraper conveyor meet failures during running ,as long as the failure is no enlarged, we need take temporary maintenance measures to keep the conveyor running condition. Handling the failure should be postponed until the available time of maintenance shift or shift changes,so as to avoid shutdown.
Besides, pay attention to a reasonable actual loading on chain scraper conveyor. Try to meet the rating capacity and chain scraper conveyor can fully display its performance. However ,if there is over loading on conveyors,materials will be spilled over which cause conveyors’ parts damaged and waste of labors and time . If loading is too small, chain scraper conveyor’s performance can not be displayed,it is waste of time and money.
