Drag chain conveyor and screw conveyors belong to conveying equipment, both of them have their features and structures. First ,screw conveyor is divided into shafted screw conveyor and shaftless screw conveyor .Shafted screw conveyor can transport materials as same as drag chain conveyor: powder,particle and small granules ( such as lime powder, coal ash powder, grains,etc ) .Shaftless screw conveyor is used to transport sludge,biomass,garbage ,etc . Screw conveyor is such a conveyor which is taking advantage of motor driving to make the screw blade rotating, so as to reach the conveying purpose. Drag chain conveyor uses scraper and chains to move the scrapers.
Structure is different : scraper is consisted of open chute, drag chain ,scraper ,head drive sprocket and tail tension sprocket. Machine body is consisted of head frame, motor,hydrodynamic coupling,gearbox and sprockets. Middle part is consisted of connection chute, middle chute ,chain and scrapers . Machine tail part is such a device that provide plate and scraper ‘s returning work.
Working principle : the scraper uses the open chute as the undertaking part for coal,rock or other materials, Fix the scraper into the chains (forming chain &scraper ) as drag device. When the head drive is started , it can bring sprockets rotating ,making scraper &chain move forward till the head part and discharge. Chain &scraper bypassed the sprocket for a stepless closed cycle to complete the conveying materials.
