Introduction

Nylon material also is called Polyamide (PA) whose bulk density is 1.15g/cm3.The most outstanding feature of nylon is that nylon’s abrasion resistance is better than other fibers.Usually the shaftless screw conveyor’s bottom plate is made of nylon ,to prevent the shaftless screw blade to be worn out during transporting. Moreover, we also can wrap a layer of nylon material at the edge of screw blade on the shafted screw conveyor.

And we call such a screw conveyor’ s name by flexible screw conveyor with nylon screw blade.

If the nylon layers are worn out ,we can use new nylon layer to replace the existing nylon layer .The cost of replacing nylon screw blade is cheaper than welding screw blade on screw shaft . In this way , on one hand,we protect the stainless steel screw blade from being worn out soon 

Basic information 

Like other common screw conveyors , the flexible screw conveyor with nylon screw blade can transport powder, particle and other loosen materials.After the screw blade is welded on the screw shaft , workers will grind and polish between screw blades and shafts. Then assemble the nylon sleeve around the screw blade’s edge. Use screws to tighten screw nylons and screw blades.

In the process of assembling nylon materials ,there requires strict technology of fabrication.

Fabrication standards

Screw conveyor’s fabrication standards is JG/T 7679-2008.

Surface treatment on flexible screw conveyor 

 By sand blasting and acid clean .If necessary ,we can polish on screw conveyor .

Delivery time 

If 1 set of flexible screw conveyor ,there only need 30 days . There is no stock conveyor at the workshop.Because all conveyors are customized as per request.

Inspection on flexible screw conveyor 

We will make FAT at workshop ,and invite customer to witness the inspection .Or we send running test videos to customers.

Usually the inspection work includes: 

1.sizes on screw conveyors

2.Motor &gearbox’ speed .

3.Make sure the conveyor run test about 2 hours at least .

4.Check the bearing’s temperature after running test .

5.Check the noise must be below 85dB within 1 meter .

6.Check the clearance between screw shell and screw blade .

7.PT test on welding points

8.PMI report of materials

Safe Packing

Inside packing is plastic film wrapping .Outside is packed by plywood case.
